Install the Skillify helper

The helper runs locally on your machine and is the only thing that can launch Codex with a SKILL.md. It is required to run skills, not to record or browse them.

macOS

brew install skillify/tap/helper

Windows

Download the signed installer (.msi) from the releases page.

Linux

Use the .deb or .rpm from the releases page.

After installing, return to Devices to pair this machine.
